About Us

Thanks for visiting JDP Tech Solutions! My name is Jake Pasternak, and when it comes to computers, I'm a dedicated professional with a genuine passion for technology.

My journey began in high school, where I was so committed to my craft that the school's technology administrator nominated me to serve as a student technician. I gained invaluable experience visiting classrooms and offices to fix computer problems. Outside of school, I immersed myself in projects like setting up networks of servers to host movies and music, and converting much of my childhood home into a Smart Home.

After graduating high school in 2014, I earned an Associate in Science in Computer Security and Networking Technology from the University of Hawaii, Honolulu Community College. I also completed a 6-month course in coding and web development at UC Berkeley Extension. Along the way, I continued refining my skills and expanding my expertise by earning multiple certifications that ensure I can deliver cost-effective, detail-oriented, and secure solutions. I even had the privilege of teaching the A+ certification to adults using their military GI assistance and to individuals transitioning from labor-intensive jobs to computer-related work due to injury or disability.

In 2017, I launched my own business to help my local community with everyday tech issues and professional IT consulting for small companies. One example was coordinating the upgrade of a commercial real estate appraiser's entire staff to the newest version of Windows—ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

I thrive on solving the very challenges most people dread. I believe technology should free you from frustration, not cause it. When tech issues inevitably arise, I tackle them swiftly and efficiently, leaving you happy and productive.

In April 2022, I moved to Tampa, Florida, for the same reason many do: to chase opportunity. My goal in the Wesley Chapel/New Tampa and Greater Tampa Bay area is to support this community by sharing expert knowledge on staying secure with technology, delivering the best solutions to fit your needs, and making sure your devices always run at their best.
